Buick check engine codes
Overview
Buick uses General Motors engines. Common issues mirror Chevrolet: EVAP vent and purge valves, intake gasket leaks on older V6 engines, and turbo underboost on small turbo four cylinders.

Buick specific notes
- GM 3.1 and 3.4 liter V6 engines (roughly 1996 to 2003 in many models) are known for lower intake manifold gasket failures that can leak coolant into the oil. Watch coolant level and oil condition.
